Introductory Viking Combat Training Workshop
Hurstwic has moved out of Valhalla, our dedicated Viking combat training hall, as we change the nature of our training program. Accordingly, we are unable to offer training workshops until we secure a new facility. Contact us for more information.

• Have you watched Vikings on television or in the movies and wondered how Viking-age people really fought and used their weapons?

Find out for yourself! Join us to learn the combat skills of medieval Europe's most fearsome warriors: the Vikings.

Hurstwic researches, practices, and teaches how Vikings fought and used their weapons. We have been training and offering these introductory workshops for years at the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, MA, USA. When the museum closed at the end of 2013, we moved our training program to our own dedicated training facility in Millbury. Here we continue our work independently.

We meet three times each week to research and train Viking fighting skills. We offer public workshops from time to time, and we offer similar workshops and training for private groups, and as team-building exercises.
